Yankton Store & Restaurant is actually the kind of store that you will definitely stop and take a look when you drive by-on one side is a grocery store selling local dry goods, cold drinks and snacks, and on the other is a small restaurant that serves solid American home-cooked dishes. There is nothing fancy, but the burger, sandwich, and patty with French fries is better than that it is fresh and hot. The atmosphere is also casual. Once you sit on a wooden bench at the door, you can still carry a bag of coffee beans and walk away after eating. Good for taking a break while passing by on a road trip or looking for one of those old-school town stores.
