Alfonso's of La Jolla, a Mexican restaurant that has been running for a long time in La Jolla. The dishes are not garish, but they taste good- carne asada is cooked just right and fish tacos are given enough ingredients. The environment is the kind of feeling you don't have to dress up and sit and chat with your friends. It's very comfortable to order a glass of margarita with some snacks.
